Spiced Nuts

 

Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 32 tbsp.
Ingredients:
1tsp. dried rosemary
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp. ground black pepper
½ tsp. salt or to taste
½ tsp. ground cumin
1tbsp. olive oil
2tbsp. maple syrup
2/3 cup raw and unsalted cashew nuts
2/3 cup raw and unsalted pecans
2/3 cup raw and unsalted walnuts
Directions:

  1. Start your grill on smoke mode, leaving the lid open for 5 minutes,
    until the fire starts.
  2. Close the grill lid and preheat the grill to 350°F.
  3. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients except the dried rosemary.
    Mix thoroughly until the ingredients are evenly mixed and all nuts are
    coated with spices.
  4. Spread the spiced nuts on a baking sheet.
  5. Place the baking sheet on the grill and roast the nuts for 20 to 25
    minutes.
  6. Remove the nuts from heat.
  7. Sprinkle the dried rosemary on the nuts and stir to mix.
  8. Leave the nuts to cool for a few minutes.
  9. Serve and enjoy.
