Vegan Smoked Carrot Dogs





 Preparation Time: 25 minutes

 Cooking Time: 35 minutes

 Servings: 4

Ingredients:
4 thick carrots
2 tbsp. avocado oil
1 tbsp. liquid smoke
½ tbsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:

  1. Preheat the Traeger grill to 425°F and line a baking sheet with
    parchment paper.
  2. Peel the carrots and round the edges.
  3. In a mixing bowl, mix oil, liquid smoke, garlic, salt, and pepper. Place
    the carrots on the baking dish then pour the mixture over.
  4. Roll the carrots to coat evenly with the mixture and use fingertips to
    massage the mixture into the carrots.
  5. Place in the grill and grill for 35 minutes or until the carrots are forktender
    ensuring to turn and brush the carrots every 5 minutes with the
    marinade.
  6. Remove from the grill and place the carrots in a hot dog bun. Serve
    with your favorite toppings and enjoy.
