Ingredients:
1 whole butternut squash
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. brown sugar
½ tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. kosher salt
½ tsp. garlic powder
Directions:
- Preheat your smoker to 325F.
- Half the squash lengthwise with a knife. Make lines to its flesh as
shown above. - In a bowl, add the olive oil, garlic pepper, chili powder, and brown
sugar and combine. Brush this mixture on the exposed top part. - Put the butternut squash on the smoker and smoke for 1.5 hours or till
your preferred tenderness. Brush the squash with the mixture once
more on the last 30 minutes of smoking. - Remove from the smoker.
